THE STORY OF STAY PASTRY
There’s so much in store
Stay Pastry began the way many good things do: with a kitchen light left on late, a stack of butter softening on the counter, and a local kid who never stopped loving the taste of home. I grew up here in Arkansas, long before I ever dreamed I’d attend pastry school in Seattle, Washington—an experience that shaped how I think about flavor, craft, and the joy of feeding people well.
After years of studying technique and working through endless batches of laminated dough, I came back home with one goal:
to build a small, intentional pastry business rooted in this community.
Together with my wife, Maria, we started Stay Pastry as a tiny operation with big ambitions. What began as a handful of early-morning croissants quickly grew into tarts, bars, cookies, and a weekly rhythm of markets, holidays, and the familiar faces who’ve become part of our story.
At the heart of it all is the same belief I carried home from Seattle:
pastries should feel special, but never out of reach.
They should remind you why care, patience, and real ingredients matter.
Whether you meet us at a weekend market, order something for your family table, or just stop by to see what’s new, we’re grateful you’re here.
Thanks for supporting a homegrown bakery with layers of heart.
And whatever you do… stay pastry.
